Programming Class
Introduction to Perl
(Class No. P153) - This
introduction covers all the, necessary
basic factors to begin programming in
Perl. This class will provide an
understanding of the basics of the Perl
programming language and touch on the CGI
aspects of the Web application side.
Course Prerequisite:
Students must have completed the P010
course or have equivalent programming
experience. Prior knowledge with control
structure knowledge is necessary. The
student should also have a good
understanding of HTML or (X)HTML, and CSS
through prior experience or from courses
H101 or H401 and H151.
Requirements : A
plain text editor such as Notepad (PC),
Wordpad or BBEdit (Mac). HTML editors
like Notepad Lite or Standard will also
do just fine. Students must have access
to a system running the current version
